The Intergalva 2022 conference programme has been adjusted in response to the significant challenges faced by the galvanizing industry in energy supply and the future decarbonisation of operations. The importance of batch galvanized steel to achieving society’s net-zero goals and achieving greater circularity will also be explored in expert presentations and panel discussions involving industry leaders, politicians and other stakeholders.
Registration is now open and, with further relaxation of COVID restrictions anticipated for Italy, we are looking forward to bringing the worldwide industry together once again. It’s hard to believe it is 5 years since the remarkable success of Intergalva 2018, Berlin.
The conference programme will be accompanied by optional masterclasses on key topics - Energy Consumption and Decarbonisation; Zinc Consumption and Kettle Practice; Optimising Pre-treatment; Jigging; Productivity; Environmental Permits: Guide to the new EU BREF.
Optional visits to galvanizing plants in Italy are available on 23 and 24 June – including the opportunity to visit Pompeii within some options. Accompanying persons (e.g., wife or husband) can also take optional sightseeing tours in Rome and attend the Intergalva social events.
Suppliers of plant, equipment and raw materials will welcome delegates within the Intergalva Exhibition that is already almost fully booked. See the current list of exhibitors.
Intergalva 2022 is organised by EGGA in conjunction with Associazione Italiana Zincatura.
Register by 29 April for a discount on early registration. Discounts are also available for association members.
