As the capital of Italy, Rome is easily accessed by air with 2 international airports:
The hotel does not operate an airport shuttle. Guide prices for a taxi are €35 (FCO) and €45 (CIA). Ask for "Rome Marriott Park Hotel, via Colonnello Tommaso Masala". There is another Marriott Hotel in Rome - so specify carefully!
The main train station in Rome is: Stazione Termini. Airport buses and trains, and international trains, arrive at Stazione Termini. From there, continue by bus, metro or preferably taxi.
The closest train station for the Rome Marriott Park Hotel is Muratella Local Train Station (3km from the hotel) and it will be necessary to take a taxi from there.
If your train stops first in Roma Tiburtina station, you can take either a train or Metro B or a taxi.
Please, note that there is no direct train from Stazione Termini to Muratella.
Rome has two main metro lines, A (orange) and B (blue), which cross at Termini. Trains run between 5.30am and 11.30pm (to 1.30am on Fridays and Saturdays). At night, beyond the service hours, there is a public bus shuttle service that goes on the same route as the metro.
To reach the Hotel from Termini take line B (Direction Laurentina) for 8 stops to EUR Magliana (9km from hotel) and take a taxi.
To reach central Rome:
All stations on line B have wheelchair access and lifts except Circo Massimo, Colosseo and Cavour. On line A, Cipro and Termini are equipped with lifts.
Official licensed taxis are white with a taxi sign on the roof and Roma Capitale and the license number written on the front door.
Always take a metered fair, rather than an arranged price. The easiest way to get a taxi is to wait a rank or phone. But it is possible to hail one.
Delegates requiring visas for entry into Italy must apply for their visas at their local Italian Embassy.
If letters of invitation are required, please indicate this when registering.
